Implement OIDC client provider for GitLab within wgtauth so that Acorn is no longer needed as an intermediary system
wgtauth
currently provides support for three authentication backends (which were initially created for Mountain Luxury Compass):
- Acorn
With the (possible) exception of Google, the providers are only obliquely helpful to Sonador. A provider is needed that is easier to configure. One possible candidate is GitLab.
Goals:
- Implement SSO provider in
wgtauth
for GitLab that can be used in development environments. - Create a blog post which documents the provider, describes how to configure it for use within Sonador, and walks through some of the advanced features (such as the ability to create standalone OHIF applications, thereby unlocking segmentations and MPR tools).
